Thank you so much for checking in! I have not made any recent blog postings as I am busy designing and adding content to a NEW and IMPROVED BLOG. As well as a new design and look for my website. I love elopements! I really enjoy the casual one on one with the couple. I have time to get creative and am able to keep it all really fun. This of course was easy with Shayna and Chris as they were there to enjoy themselves. And are clearly very in love! I also got to work with Angela at Promises in Paradise Maui. She is awesome!! Congratulations Shayna and Chris, thanks for getting a little wet on your wedding day!
Isabella, 9 months old. Such a sweetie, cutie, lovey girl! She was a joy to photograph. They live in Oahu, and dad couldn’t make it over in this trip. But I got a couple loving moments between mom and daughter. I love photographing kids! They are so expressive and innocent. Congratulations Kahanu and Rusty on a gorgeous, healthy little girl!
Strong beautiful colors this day, deep blues and outstanding orange. Also Melissa choose the cutest flower girl dresses ever! The sun was out and blazing which made for a perfect sunny Maui day. The ceremony was kicked off at Gannon’s in Wailea then down the the beach for some sunset portraits. The night ended at Mulligans for a out door reception dinner. Laurie with Makena Weddings planned this event without a hitch. Aloha and congrats Melissa and Matt.
This was my first wedding of the New Year, and what a way to start it off! Melissa and Russ were married on a gorgeous ocean front property, released butterflies and were not afraid to do a little rock climbing! The whole thing was absolutely beautiful. Planned by Laurie with Makena Weddings and the ceremony performed by Al Alapaki. Congratulations you two!! May every New Year be as beautiful as this one…
Peyvand and James were married on Kapalua Bay with an intimate group of family and friends. We had a couple of showers blow through during the ceremony, but you would never know it looking at the amazing color of the bay. The couple said that was totally appropriate as when James proposed, it was pouring rain. The showers certainly did not damper their excitement. In fact it was infectious! I hope you two have many more days of sun after rain!

I got to work with a wedding coordinator from Santa Cruz on this event. Lalaine from Plan Ahead Events - Santa Cruz.com is friends of the couple and of course wanted to plan their Maui wedding! Great people, laughing and joking a lot. This mid afternoon wedding was blessed with a colorful rainbow right after the ceremony. Great working with you Lalaine. Congratulations Nayomi and Richard!
April and Bill had a lot to celebrate while on Maui. They were looking forward to their little one joining the family, making their union official and wishing Bill a happy birthday. Wow! A sweet and emotional ceremony with Pia Alanui as their officiant on Kapalua Bay. Here’s to your growing family and wishing you two all the best!
